Abbey Road, St Johns Wood, London. This zebra crossing has been made famous by The Beatles iconic Abbey Road album cover, taken by Iain Macmillan. The crossing is a popular tourist destination though also busy traffic thoroughfare, (you’ll see drivers getting frustrated at people marching back and forth over the crossing getting their photo taken). The crossing has been given Grade II listed status and the wall outside EMI’s Abbey Road Studios is repainted every three months by the council covering fans graffiti.
