The North Downs. Lying within two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the North Downs Way runs across the South East of England from Farnham (where I went to university) to Dover. I photographed an area of The North Downs near Box Hill in Surrey, very close to where the Cycling Road Race will take place during the London 2012 Olympics. It is a beautiful area, with thick woodland and undulating countryside dotted with picturesque villages, making the area popular for cyclists and ramblers alike.

It really seems a nice area for free time. I lika the play of lights and shadows on the door of the Tanners Hatch Hostel. Unfortunately it is too far from where I live!
